Reduce Your Telecom Expenses with HPA

Telecom costs, including voice, landline, wireline and broadband/Internet, are usually a large expense. Many organizations are trying to keep pace with the current technology and implementation of more bandwidth, but face the added uphill battle of needing to keep costs down. HPA can offer a variety of options to help you negotiate through the services and costs and ultimately arrive at the right technology with the highest quality providers with the lowest expenditures. Thorough Approach to All Aspects of Telecom Expenses

Today’s Telecommunications services are complex, so HPA has a suite of services to offer to help you manage your telecom services. Examples of Cost Management services HPA provides include:

  • Telecom Service Billing Audits of all services such as local, long distance, cellular, Internet, paging, maintenance agreements, equipment contracts, dark fiber, private networks, MPLS, Internet, and broadband. HPA will analyze your services and handle any dispute resolution, price negotiations, refund/credit negotiations, service and equipment inventories, moves, adds and changes, charges, taxes and surcharge review, USOC analysis, and per minute costs. HPA is an approved vendor on the New York State contract for telecom Expense Reduction (See NYS OGS Contract information found here: http://www.ogs.state.ny.us/purchase/snt/awardnotes/7903220518can.htm).
  • Telecom Service Modifications, including, inventory of services and contracts, recommending new service configurations, deleting services, adding new services or features for cost effectiveness, RFP for services not under contract and implementation of any recommendations. The recommendations are provided and you get to decide if you want to implement them.
  • Telecom Expense Management Outsourcing. HPA can provide you with ongoing analysis and review of your monthly invoices including wireless (pagers and cell phones, data/aircards), broadband, private line, landline, voice services, dark fiber, and maintenance charges. HPA can handle the monthly worries that go with verifying invoice accuracy. If any problems are found, HPA will work with the vendors to correct those charges so you are only paying what you actually are obligated to pay your vendors. HPA can identify issues on a timely basis rather than fixing them further down the road. In addition, we can monitor contract dates and bid out the services as the contracts reach expiration. We can provide ongoing analysis for possible future installations, moves or changes. HPA has expertise in understanding contracts, tariffs, and vendor invoicing and we are skilled at dealing with vendor bureaucracy.
  • RFP/Bid Management for both Services and/or Equipment. HPA will work with our clients to determine their needs, develop the specifications, qualify vendors, prepare and solicit the bids, analyze the proposal, and provide expert recommendations. HPA will also provide contract negotiations and implementation support. Since HPA is vendor neutral; we are able to provide completely unbiased recommendations and work solely for our clients.
